The BCISD bond explained

The Burnet Consolidated Independent School District has a bond on the upcoming Election Day ballot, May 2, 2026. Burnet CISD Superintendent Dr. Aaron Peña was in the KBEY studio to layout what is in the bond, things like: necessary district wide renovations, a large, important remodel for the middle school, plans that will allow for increased capacity at several campuses, and more. Dr. Peña explained how bond money works and the bond’s effect on taxes.
