Wakepoint Open is ready to make waves on LBJ

Maddie Allen and Brady Westlund stopped in to the KBEY studio this week to talk about the big event THIS weekend — the 2026 Wakepoint Open, July 31-August 1 on Lake LBJ.
Organizers have been on top of things to make this World Class wake board and wake surfing event top notch. They told us how the recent flood impacted the lake and that it looks great ahead of the competition this weekend. Pros from far and wide are lined up for the fun, and the amateur division is open!
The competition is free and open to all spectators – as is the water taxi. Spectators are also welcome to come by boat and anchor up to watch the action.
