Chefs are still needed for Men Who Cook, which is Friday, Oct. 25, at Horseshoe Bay Resort. Tickets are also on sale for the fundraiser. Proceeds go to Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center. The center’s Kim Kankel and Kirk Noaker cooked up some excitement for the event in a KBEY 103.9 FM interview.
The Highland Lakes Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force in Burnet is hosting Santa and a C-47 from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8 — a unique Christmas photo op.
