Lake Buchanan Conservation Corp Fish Fry

We were excited to have Nick Zackoff as a guest this week on Mac in the Mornings! Nick is with the Lake Buchanan Conservation Corporation, the folks who do so much for Lake Buchanan like maintaining fish habitat, numerous conservation efforts, even restocking the fish, and sponsoring local senior scholarships. One of the major fundraising efforts is the annual fish fry. The 19th annual LBCC Fish Fry and Silent Auction will take place Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the Hill Country Hall in Buchanan Dam. This year The Real New Orleans Style Restaurant will be preparing the fish and fixins for the event!
