Equipping Local Students: The 2026 Back to School Blast Returns August 1st

Getting ready for the first day of school can be stressful for families, but a dedicated local tradition is making sure every student in the Highland Lakes walks into the classroom feeling confident and fully prepared!

This week, Jon Weems and Jonathan Sultemeier from B2SB, stopped by the morning show to preview the 2026 Back to School Blast, taking place Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Marble Falls Middle School.

Open to all area students in Pre-K through 12th grade, the event provides free backpacks packed with grade-appropriate supplies, brand-new shoes and socks, free haircuts, and health and vision screenings—all under one roof!
