SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Victory Media is a family-owned and operated multi-media company including KBEY 103.9FM Texas Best Country. We enjoy the distinction of the trusted source of news and entertainment for the Texas Highland Lakes Region.
Sales Representatives for KBEY will specialize in radio sales. Your primary objective will be to identify and maintain advertising accounts. Educating clients of advertising opportunities, manage auto-renewals, work through conflicts, and manage collections to ensure timely payments.
Radio sales experience is a plus, but not required. Living within a 30 mile radius of Marble Falls, TX is a must to help the sales effort and have community involvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and service accounts through prospecting and setting appointments with businesses and organizations
- Learn and fully understand the business objectives and advertising strategies of prospects and clients
- In consultation with and guidance provided by department leadership. Provide solutions to help clients achieve their objectives through highly effective advertising
Qualifications:
- Outside direct media or agency sales experience preferred
- Strong understanding of traditional, digital, and social media
- Excellent organizational, written, and presentation skills
- Basic computer skills and willingness to be trained on our management software
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of building strong professional relationships with internal and external customers
- Ability to discuss sales opportunities including spot packages, endorsements and live remotes with clients
- Self starter who is motivated by sales, while fostering a team-based environment
- Ability to multi-task and stay focused to meet deadlines
