2026 Poodie’s Party is Oct. 4

The Poodie’s Party crew rolled into the studio to talk about the 2026 Poodie’s Party taking place on Sunday, Oct. 4. Janessa Hardaway from Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center, Bob Dilley from Helping Hands Crisis Ministry in Spicewood, and BB Morse, co-founder and president of Poodie’s Party stopped in to talk about the event and the local organizations that the party will benefit. 

Poodie was known as King of the Roadies, he was the road dog that kept Willie Nelson’s family band moving, a kind heart. Poodie’s in Spicewood is a live music venue. Poodie’s Party is a nonprofit organization that was formed to help others. The idea of the annual Poodie’s Party is to be a better neighbor and allow the organization to give back to the Spicewood-Highland Lakes community.

The Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center is one of the organizations the event will benefit. It is a local domestic violence/sexual assault crisis center that offers 60 day shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and case management.

The other organization benefiting from the event is Helping Hand Crisis Ministry in Spicewood. Helping Hand started as a food bank but thanks to contributions from Poodie’s Party over the years has been able to expand its services.
