The Highland Lakes Service League is now accepting scholarship applications from area women looking to further their education. The Highland Lakes Service League’s Chuck Wagon Chow Down is set for Saturday, Jan. 25, at the YMCA of the Highland Lakes in Burnet. The league’s Vickie McMurray talked about final preparations for the annual fundraiser in a KBEY 103.9 FM interview with Mac McClennahan.

Every December, the Highland Lakes Service League throws a Christmas party for children and adults with special needs.
