“Saturday Night Tailgate” airs from 7 to 10 p.m. every Saturday and focuses on Texas/Red Dirt music. Co-hosts Damon Beierle and David Lackey bring the newest singers and songwriters to the air along with well-known Texas musicians such as Pat Green and the Randy Rogers Band.
“This type of music doesn’t get the radio time it deserves in a lot of markets,” Beirele says. “We deliver the homegrown talents that might play over 200 shows a year across the state of Texas but don’t get the radio spins because it’s not Nashville mainstream.”
Listen up and let the toe tappin’ and boot shufflin’ begin!

As owner of Double Eagle Entertainment in Burnet, Beierle offers mobile DJ, sound and lighting services and event production and promotion. Since 2005, he has worked with more than 100 bands and produced festivals and events across Texas.
Beierle also is active in community organizations and events. He is a director on the Burnet Chamber of Commerce and the Burnet County Fair & Rodeo boards. And, he’s a member of the local Rotary Club. Beierle and his wife, Monica, and their daughter, Tatum, live just west of Burnet.
Growing up in the Texas Hill Country, Lackey has a knack for all things country. He started working in the music industry in 1998 as a stage hand for Les Hartman, a local artist out of Llano.
From running cables to setting lights and selling T-shirts, he learned it all. After 12 years of dance halls and live music festivals, Lackey met Beierle and soon went to work at Double Eagle Entertainment.
Lackey lives in Burnet, where he divides his time between his music work, his position as a firefighter for the City of Burnet and a multitude of community projects.
With family at his side, including girlfriend, Sarah, daughter, Becca, and a new little bundle on the way, he says life is just starting to get exciting.
“I can’t wait to see where this roller coaster is gonna loop next,” he says.
