Empowering Women Out of Prison

Karen El-Tawil of Empowering Women Out of Prison was in the KBEY 103.9 FM studio to talk about the organization’s mission of transitioning women back into everyday life after prison. The group is hosting a fundraising golf tournament on Friday, Oct. 6, at Legends Golf Course in Kingsland. On Saturday, Oct. 7, it will have a wine tasting trip with lunch. And later that evening will be an outdoor dinner event in Kingsland.
