Project 316 fundraiser is Oct. 2

Project 316 is holding its annual fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 2, at 8 a.m. at R.J. Richey Elementary School in Burnet. Later that day at 5 p.m., there will be live music Haley-Nelson Park in Burnet. Project 316 was started after the passing of Burnet police Officer Jose Meza. The organization raises money for first responders who become injured or sick, even if it isn’t duty related. It also raises money for youths who want to pursuer a career in police, fire, or EMS.
