Smoking for Jesus commemorates 15th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina

Smoking for Jesus Pastor Willie Monnet and Minister Claudette Monnet called into the KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune “Wake Up Show” on Aug. 25 to talk about the church’s journey after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, where the congregation was originally based. Now in the Highland Lakes, the ministry will commemorate the 15th anniversary of the storm on Sunday, Aug. 30, with a service at 9:15 a.m. and a virtual play at 6 p.m.
