Marble Falls Fire Chief Russell Sander stopped by the KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune studio to talk about the upcoming Citizens Fire Academy, the first for Marble Falls Fire Rescue. Wear the gear, operate the apparatus, and use the equipment firefighters use as one of the first participants in the June academy. It’s for ages 18 and older who live or work in the city of Marble Falls and is limited to the first 20 applicants. Classes are 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays starting June 5. The final class is Saturday, June 29, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Fill out the application online or call Marble Falls Fire Rescue at (830) 693-4060.
