Burnet Fire Department’s Back-to-School Bonanza is Aug. 18

Burnet firefighter David Lackey came by to inform KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune listeners that the Burnet Fire Department is once again providing kiddos with everything they need to go back to school in style this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire hall on U.S. 281. It’s the fourth annual Back-to-School Bonanza! Along with backpacks and school supplies, there will be wellness checks and immunizations, haircuts, and car seat checks plus food and fun for the whole family! Everyone is invited, and supplies will be handed out on a first-come, first served basis until they run out. For more information, call the BFD at (512) 756-5911.
