Taking ‘stock’ in the new year

Ed and Kay had fun getting the lowdown on the upcoming 50th annual Burnet County Livestock Show, which is Jan. 5-7. Kelly Tarla, the Burnet County AgriLife extension agent, gave us all the details.

The barn at the Burnet County Fairgrounds, 1208 Houston Clinton Drive in Burnet, opens at 10 a.m. Thursday, and opening ceremonies start at 1:30 p.m. The action continues through Saturday with the buyers lunch at 11 a.m. and the premium sale at 1:30 p.m.
