Saddle up: Burnet County Rodeo’s in town
June 9, 2016
Jason Jamar (left) stopped by for the “JBar Weekend Restroom Report,” and we saddled up with Brent Nichols and Tina Morgan of the Burnet County Fair and Rodeo Association plus the “Man in the Can” himself, rodeo clown Ronald Burton!
We roped up all the details about the 50th annual Burnet County Rodeo, which takes place at Cody Orman Arena, 1301 Houston Clinton Drive in Burnet. Things actually get started tonight with team roping, and folks are invited to come out and watch for free. Then, get ready for all the action Friday and Saturday. The gates open at 6 p.m., and the fun starts at 8 p.m. both days. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids, and tickets include a dance after the rodeo each night.
