Globe Theater concert benefits orphanages

It was fun visiting with Zack Hamilton (right), one of the owners of the historic Globe Theater in Bertram, and musician Jeff Hughes, who is performing Saturday, June 4, with friends at the Globe.

The show feature Jeff along with Chaparral and the Remnants is 8 p.m. at the theater, 132 W. Vaughn St., and is raising money for the Salem 4 Youth Boys Home and the Joyland Orphanage in the Philippines.

Admission to the incredible 1935 art deco-style theater is free, but donations will be accepted at the door. For more information, click here.
