Heroes on the Water honors veterans Memorial Day weekend

Well, thanks to our guest, Kody Wilson of Heroes on the Water, we now know what a fun Memorial Day weekend they’ve got planned!

Heroes on the Water will be holding its kickoff event at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet. This event is to get veterans and their immediate family members on the water to alleviate some of the stress that comes with being a warrior. Another reason they are putting on the event is to promote awareness of the newly formed Heroes on the Water Austin chapter and all it does for our vets. The event includes kayaking, food, fishing, camping and live music. It’s free for veterans and only $10 on Saturday and $15 on Sunday for everyone else.
