November 5, 2015
It was great visiting with Jason Jbarr (right) and Damon Beierle, the host of KBEY’s “Saturday Night Tailgate,” about Saturday’s Concert in the Park benefit at Haley Nelson Park, located on Garden Trails Drive in Burnet. The event starts at 6 p.m., and proceeds from the concert, featuring live music from Ben Watson and The Hired Guns and Dysfunkshun Junkshun, go to help the family of Daniel Hampton, Burnet EMT Timothy Pierce as well as patient Donna Gerardo, who were all involved in an ambulance accident Sept. 18. Hampton was killed in the crash.
Tickets will be sold by donation and may be purchased at the gate. You can also help by purchasing chances to win 10 YETI coolers and barbecue at the event.
