Buchanan VFD celebrating 40 years with BBQ fundraiser

We sure are glad we had a visit from Chad Mitchell of the Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department, which is celebrating 40 years of service.

Help them celebrate and raise much-needed funds starting Saturday, Sept. 19, at their annual barbecue starting at 11 a.m.. There will be live music, a sweet shop, fire truck rides, the Hill Country Area Crime Stoppers and more. Come on by the Red Barn Community Center, located two miles north of Texas 29 on RR 261 in Buchanan Dam. Help these wonderful volunteers raise enough for another 40 years!
