Burnet County Relay for Life is April 25-26

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s our hero Patia Sandifer (left) of the American Cancer Society! Seen here with Teresa Wall, Patia stopped by to remind us about this weekend’s “We Can Be Heroes” Relay for Life of Burnet County.

This year’s festivities are taking place on the Burnet County courthouse square and is super fun for participants and spectators alike. Festivities begin about 6 p.m. Saturday with a heartwarming Survivors Walk and continue through 6 a.m. Sunday with music, food, fun and games. And don’t forget about the beautiful luminaria celebration. Proceeds raised from the event go to the American Cancer Society.
