Rock on with Llano Earth Art Fest

March 4, 2015

Ed Chandler and Kay Baker are getting down to earth during the “Wake Up Call” on Thursday.

Ron Anderson of the Llano Earth Art Festival will join them at 7:45 a.m. to discuss this first-of-its-kind Llano event. The festival on March 13-15 will feature a rock-stacking championship, zombie apocalypse training, belly dancers, fire dancers and so much more.

At 8:35 a.m. Craig Lusinger will talk about the the third annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser March 7 at Tottie’s in Marble Falls. St. Baldrick’s raises money for pediatric cancer research. During the event, teams and individuals solicit pledges and donations as they take a seat in the barber’s chair and get a hair cut — a close shave. To learn more, tune in to KBEY from 5-10 p.m. March 5.

And start your workday with the “Wake Up Call” from 6-10 a.m. weekdays on KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune and at KBEYFM.com.
