Donkey Day is Feb. 2 in Bertram

It sure was a treat to visit with Bertram Mayor Dickie Allen! He filled us in on the 10th annual Donkey Day in Bertram, coming up on Monday, Feb. 2.

At high noon in front of City Hall, the siren will sound, and Pawnee the donkey will predict whether we’ll have an early spring or six more weeks of winter. Read more about Donkey Day in the Jan. 28 edition of The Picayune — always free!

It’s a fun event and open to the public, so everyone come on out and cheer on Pawnee!
