A free Kids’ Day Out is Sept. 13

Dale Hill is our hero! It was great visiting with him this morning about the 10th annual Kids’ Day Out, scheduled for Saturday at the YMCA of the Highland Lakes at Galloway-Hammond, 1601 S. Water St.  (U.S. 281) in Burnet.

The gates open at 9 a.m., and the festivities continue until 3 p.m. Admission is free with the donation of one non-perishable food item. Kids will enjoy an educational and fun day with activities including archery, steer head roping, fishing, canoeing, face painting, hot dogs and other goodies, and lots more.

It’s not too late to volunteer, and vendors, if you would like to set up your fun/educational booth, there’s room for you.
