Relay for Life is May 16-17

We had so much fun visiting with event coordinator Theresa Wall (right) and Patia Sandifer of the American Cancer Society about the Marble Falls/Burnet Relay for Life!

Relay for Life is the largest fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, and folks who attend as spectators or team members can expect to have a good time, raise up survivors, and, of course, raise money for a great cause.

The event kicks off at 6 p.m. May 16 with the survivors reception and opening ceremonies. Then, at 6:30 p.m., the survivors will take a special lap, and participants can vote on the king and queen of the relay. The live auction begins at 7 p.m., and the Luminaria Ceremony is 9 p.m. Food, games and music continue into the morning May 17.
