Help Mission U-Too feed the community
April 3, 2014
Ed and Kay want to send out a big “Thanks!” to Tom Slavin for filling us in on all the wonderful things Mission U-Too’s Outreach Ministries does for our community.
Mission U-too operates outreach ministries in several communities, including Kingsland and Llano. One of the ministry’s projects is serving hamburgers once a week to anybody who wants one. In Kingsland, this takes place 5-6 p.m. Wednesdays with worship at 6-7 p.m. the outreach is located at 3435 RR 1431. Read more about the mission at DailyTrib.com.
The mission also has teamed up with Southside Market Sausage. With the purchase of Mission U-Too Sausage, you can not only feed yourself but help feed the hundreds of folks who the ministry assists through its outreach program. The sausage, cooked up by the famous Southside Market & Barbecue in Egin, supports the Christian mission, which has locations in Kingsland, Bastrop, Smithville and Llano. The sausage is available at many local retailers, including more than 60 H-E-B stores in Central Texas.
Go to www.missionutoo.org for more information.
This Saturday at the Kingsland H-E-B starting at 10 a.m., Southside Market will have its smoker/grill outside the front of the store cooking samples for passers-by to raise awareness of the mission.
