‘Drop Dead’ coming to Hill Country Community Theatre

Laura Braden is Mona Monet, the former star of TV’s “My Little Mona.” Patrick Lescarbeau is Dick Shalit, a TV repairman who just happens to be Gene Shalit’s brother. Randy Spruiell is Chaz Looney, the young actor playing an English butler with a French accent. One of them is the murderer!
“Drop Dead!ā by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore is coming to the Hill Country Community Theatre, 4007 FM 2147 West in Cottonwood Shores. It’s rated PG-13 for mild adult humor and language.
Jerry Morrison directs the murder-mystery farce in which a group of has-been actors try to save their careers, find a murderer and stay alive for curtain call.
The show runs April 24-May 4. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 2:15 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $15 for adults and $7 for students 16 and younger. Group rates are available. Tickets may be purchased online at www.thehcct.org.
