Celebrate Dr. Seuss on March 3-4

Thanks so much to Darlene Denton of the Parent Resource Center for visiting with us about the Read Across America Celebration of Dr. Seuss’s 110th birthday!

The fun is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 3 and 4 at the Parent Resource Center, 607 N. Vanderveer St. in Burnet. You can be part of the celebration by volunteering to help in many ways. Call the center at (512) 715-3668 to find out more.

Also, Burnet Fire Chief John Irskin will be promoting fire safety at the event. There will be a green eggs and ham snack, costumed characters, photos and lots of smiles and fun!
