‘An Evening at CASA Manor’ is Saturday
February 20, 2014
Ed and Kay sure are glad they had the opportunity to visit with Galyn Woerner of CASA of the Highland Lakes Area during the “Wake Up Call!”
Don’t miss the organization’s special fundraising event, “An Evening at CASA Manor” from 6-10 p.m. Saturday at Lakeside Pavilion, 307 Buena Vista Drive in Marble Falls. There are still a few tickets available.
The gala raises money for the local Court Appointed Special Advocates program, which provides specially trained volunteers to serve as the eyes and ears of the court for children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect. The money events such as the gala bring in go to help recruit and train those oh-so-important volunteers. Read more about the gala at DailyTrib.com.
There will be cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a full-catered dinner, live and silent auctions and dancing with music provided by the Bill Smallwood Orchestra. So dress in your “Downton Abbey” finest and please attend the super-fun event for a wonderful cause!
