Fraternal Order of Eagles holding barbecue benefit

January 15, 2014

Ed and Kay had a blast visiting with Mary Pullen and Ron Avery of the Fraternal Order of Eagles about Saturday’s barbecue benefit.

All money raised goes to the Cancer Therapy & Research Center, one of the nation’s premier cancer centers dedicated to finding a cure. The menu at the barbecue consists of brisket, smoked sausage, beans and potato salad for only $7.50 a plate. Also a corn dog and potato chip plate will be available for kids 12 and younger for only $2.25. (And don’t forget to save room for desert!) There will be hourly giveaways and a grand prize drawing for a beautiful barbecue grill.

Again, the event is 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday at the FOE building, 6931 RR 1431 in Granite Shoals. Everyone come on out for this great meal for a great cause!
