Workday at The Helping Center on Oct. 27

A big thanks to Pete Smith and Karen Wilkens, who joined Ed and Kay to fill us in on the community workday at The Helping Center garden in Marble Falls.

Starbucks and the Highland Lakes Master Gardeners are holding the event 1-4 p.m. Oct. 27 at The Helping Center garden, located on the corner of Avenue N and Broadway. This is a great opportunity for folks of all ages to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather plus learn and share organic gardening techniques from Master Gardeners.

And the more volunteers the better, because The Helping Center receives a stipend from a grant provided by Starbucks for every hour worked by EVERY volunteer that day!
