Spooky place: Badu House offers spirits and ‘spirits’

October 2, 2013

Today’s “Spooky Place in Texas” is the Badu House in Llano. Originally a smalltown bank in 1891, it was converted into a home in 1896 for Professor N.J. Badu, a noted local mineralogist and a native of France. The professor apparently loved his house and the town of Llano so well, many say he has never left.

Along with great food and live music, frosty beverages might not be the only “spirits” you’ll enjoy here! The house is located at 601 Bessemer Ave. Go to thebaduhouse.com for more.
