600 Legacy Riders due in MF Aug. 21
August 20, 2013
A big thanks to Assistant Road Captain Sean O’Brian from the Marble Falls chapter of the American Legion Riders Post 593 for checking in with us this morning. More than 600 Riders with the American Legion will be riding through Marble Falls Wednesday afternoon as part of the American Legion Legacy Run.
The Legacy Run began on Aug. 18 in Indianapolis and will end in Houston on Aug. 22 after 1,500 miles of road. The ride is part of a huge fundraiser to provide scholarships to children of fallen soldiers.
Volunteers are needed in Marble Falls from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday to help fill the tanks as these guys and gals head on to Houston. If you would like to help fill up the tanks at Stripes in Marble Falls, or be a part of the flag line, call (512) 755-2200.
