LakeFest for a good cause

August 12, 2013

Midlothian drag-boat racer Marty Logan dedicated all the proceeds from his 2013 season to the family of slain Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.

We think what he is doing in honor of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle and his family is inspiring!

Kyle was killed earlier this year along with another man as they attempted to help a former Marine struggling with adjustments to life outside the military. Kyle, 38, had the most confirmed sniper kills in U.S. history. He and Logan shared the same hometown of Midlothian. To read more about the story, go to dailytrib.com.

Marty is donating 100% of the proceeds from the 2013 racing season to Chris’s family. His goal is to reach a total donation for the Chris Kyle Family of $100,000 by the end of this racing season.

You can help by purchasing merchandise. If you didn’t get any this weekend, you can order online right here! Let’s help Marty and his team meet their goal!
