Pilibosian is the owner of Treadworks Tire & Auto in Cottonwood Shores. He moved from Colorado seven years ago after falling in love with the Texas Hill Country. He has been married to the love of his life for 12 yearsm and they have two boys.
Pilibosian’s love for anything with an engine began early. As a child, he hung out at the local full-service gas station, picking up information along the way. At the age of 15, he bought a 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser. The engine needed to be rebuilt, and he had it done before he even got his driver’s license
Pilibosian knows it all — from dirt bikes to muscle cars to 4-wheel drives. With 20 years’ experience (30, if you count his childhood), he is an ASE Certified Master Technician and a graduate of San Juan Basin Area Vo-Tech. He has earned a reputation as an honest and capable mechanic and business owner.
This master mechanic believes in challenging the status quo of his industry by serving others. He volunteers with a local ministry that donates cars to families trying to get back on track and also serves with the local C4 Christian Community Car Care event, which provides free car repairs to widows and single mothers.
“A reliable car represents freedom to me,” he says. “Everyone should have that.”
