Howdy-Roo chili event and barbecue cook-off this weekend

A big thanks to Johnny Campbell for joining us this morning and giving us the details on this weekend’s 43rd annual Howdy-Roo Regional CASI Chili Cook-Off and 20th annual BBQ State Championship.

The event, which benefits the Marble Falls Area Volunteer Fire Department, Pet PALS, The Helping Center of Marble Falls, and Marble Falls Boy Scout Troop 284, starts with judges assembling at about 11 a.m. in Johnson Park, 230 Ave. J South in Marble Falls, and continues until about 4 p.m. with entertainment, vendors and fun and games going on all weekend.
