Labor Day parade on Sept. 2

August 30, 2013

Ed and Kay were super-grateful to Marble Falls alum and West Point graduate Brian Magerkerth for taking the time to visit with the Wake Up Call. What a hero!

We’re so glad he was here to remind us about the big Labor Day parade in Marble Falls! Don’t forget to show your support to our returning troops by bringing your flags, wearing your red, white and blue and gathering for the Labor Day parade, sponsored by The Picayune and KBEY 103.9 FM, starting at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 2. The best place to line up is along RR 1431 between H-E-B and VFW Post 10376, located at 1001 Veterans Drive. (And don’t forget a barbecue will follow at the VFW after the parade around noon.) Help us welcome these brave, young men and women home!
